Another trip to the Gorge

We love Flaming Gorge over Labor Day weekend. Just being with the family and going to the small town parade and fireworks out on the lake.

This is the Labor Day parade held every year out there. It is basically just a candy parade. The tractor after tractor gets pretty old but we love all the candy they throw out. We have been going to this ever since I was the boys age. Back then they also had grease pig chases after the parade at the rodeo grounds and you got to keep the pig if you caught one. We would even bring up Shannon's friends to help us catch them to take home. I remember throwing down a tarp in the back of my mom and dads bronco and driving home with pigs in the car. We would wad up newspapers so they could root around in and do their business....HAHA it was one stinky ride home for 3 hours. All we could do was laugh the whole way home. We had our fair share of pigs growing up.
